Since November 30 till December 2 the Parish of Our Mother of Perpetual Help in Astana held the weekend of spiritual exercises on the topic of “Advent: Spiritual Preparation for Christmas”. Spiritual exercises included conferences, prayers, conversations, Holy Mass, Adoration at the Holy Sacraments, as well as meditations and meetings. The main speaker of the conferences was Bishop Athanasius Schneider. The participants had a chance to learn more about preparation for Christmas and how to experience the Advent time more consciously and deeply.
